2023 5th International Conference on Blockchain Technology
(ICBCT 2023) was held in Guilin, China organized by Guilin
University of Electronic Technology and co-organized by Shanghai
Jiao Tong University, China. during November 10-12, 2023.
This year, we have received more than 62 submissions from all
over the world, such as China, Philippines, Singapore, Germany, Italy, the United States, the
United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Japan, Portugal, etc. All accepted and divided into
2 parallel meetings, each
session chaired by experts in the field. In addition, 1 keynote
speaker and 3 invited speakers shared and discussed their
latest research results with us.

The conference opened with warm remarks from Professor Yong
Ding, who welcomed attendees and set the stage for the exciting
presentations and discussions that would follow

Prof. Yan Zhang (IEEE Fellow), University of Oslo, Norway
Professor Yan Zhang delivered an insightful keynote address on
cutting-edge developments in blockchain and cryptography. His
speech captured the attention of all attendees, offering
valuable insights into the future directions of blockchain
technologies.

Asst. Prof. Yong Chen, Texas A&M International University, USA
Asst. Prof. Yong Chen presented an engaging invited on
“Industry 4.0, AI, Blockchain Technology, Innovation Technology,
Standardization.” His talk explored how Industry 4.0 is
being transformed by the integration of Artificial Intelligence
(AI) and Blockchain technologies.
Assoc. Prof. Yuan Liu, Guangzhou University, China
Dr. Yuan Liu’s presentation focused on innovative uses of
blockchain in various industries, highlighting recent
advancements in security protocols and their practical
implications.
Assoc. Prof. Ling Xiong, Xihua University, China
Dr. Ling Xiong discussed a groundbreaking project: A
Blockchain-Based Privacy-Preserving Auditable Authentication
Scheme with Hierarchical Access Control for Mobile Cloud
Computing. The talk explored novel blockchain solutions for data
security and privacy, catering to mobile and cloud environments.
